Yes, anonymous comments are good, but the current situation is getting worse by the day and I can foresee that it won't work for much longer. I'm already getting frustrated because the few minutes per day I can spend on the wiki these days are wasted with deleting comments. This takes out the fun of working on the docs. Also the RecentChanges page is now virtually useless for its original purpose, because the real edits get drowned in alle the PageCommentData changes.
