If you look at the status tag at the top of the InstallDebian page, it tells you that this is a contributed document (i.e. not offficial) and still a draft despite being really outdated (it refers to adding the experimental repository to your apt sources, although TG is in debian stable already). I think it would be a good thing to have a page that has an overview of all the available installation methods and documents, but I don't think it's a good idea to cram them all on one page. The documentation is currently meant to be read in the browser and it's not a book, so splitting the information across multiple pages is IMHO a Good Thing as long as it's easy to find it.
