Hi Mark and others, I have two ongoing projects in negotiation right
now, and they will be long term affairs. I'm seriously considering
switching to TG2 for them as I definitely like the paste/WSGI stuff I've
played with so far and I'd like to make sure I can stay with whatever
components I choose. There will not be tight deadlines, so seems like I
should have time to wait for questions if I hit a wall. So I'm wondering
if gurus can weigh in on feasibility:

- Is what we have already production stable? I can live without sugar as
long as it's stable and deployable.

- I would like to use widgets, I'm a bit scared by the lack of
Toscawidget docs, which seem not to have moved much at all in a very
long time. This issue _is_ scaring away people on the pylons list from
toscawidgets by the way, there was a thread recently in which several
folks discussed integrating Django NewForms with pylons specifically
because of the lack of TW docs. I think tha has the potential to be a
real show stopper for TG2 if ToscaWidgets is the default. Personally, I
don't think waiting for Alberto to have time to work on docs is
realistic, and I think releasing TG2 without seriously improved TW docs
would be a big marketing mistake. Would love to hear
feedback/corrections on this.

- I need to use some form of very good and extensible
authorization/identity system, what is the status on that? Is it
straight forward to use authkit with TG2 right now? I'm currently using
just a little bit of TG1 identity. Do we know what the recommended
identity system will be

- I'll use raw SA0.4 with the ORM. Did that get decided on as default?

If the above means TG2 would be premature for my needs, it would be good
to know. Otherwise, I'd be delighted to be onboard as a tester. Thanks
for all the work everyone, I'm very excited about TG2's potential.

Thanks
Iain
