We will port Identity or something very like identity to TG2 to make upgrades easier. It's not 100% clear that identity will be the default in tg2, but I plan to make sure it's available. We decided that raw SA would be the default, unless there was simple, painless, integration with raw sa 0.4 models in both directions out of the box.
