Laureano, Definitely use Pagoda as a reference. There is lots of good stuff there. Too bad that the project appears to be stalled, despite everyone wanting to name it!
One of our other GSoC candidate students has an excellent proposal on creating a bunch of jQuery and OpenLayer widgets. I think it would be helpful for both of your projects for the two of you to coordinate. It had been my hope that something of this nature would happen. I'm definitely interested in seeing what you have so far for a CMS. My recommendation is to create a googlecode.com project and put your ideas in a wiki there, along with what you have for code in the repository. I am also most likely to be your primary mentor on this project. Now you just need a name for your project. TurboGearsCMS is ok, but don't feel like you have to stick with that if you have a more creative name that is in your native tongue, which also has a domain name available.
