As I already mentioned in the "TG 1.x releases" thread, a test for this patch and a source code comment why the 'cascade' arg is present are missing. Ken, can you please add these? I think we should make it a habit to add tests together with every bug fix. Otherwise regressions will occur too easily. And if we don't add the tests at the same time, it is too easy to forget to add them later.
