Plans are difficult to implement in open source projects, but I am trying to put together a bit of a TG2 release timeline. Things may change, but this is what I'm currently proposing:
1) tg2 beta 2 will be released on Monday January 5 with some, but not all of the items from here: http://trac.turbogears.org/query?milestone=2.0b2 2) We will have a turbogears sprint on January 10 and 11, in which we will work on any remaining items from the above list, as well as anything off: http://trac.turbogears.org/query?milestone=2.0 We'll give this a couple days to settle down and do another release release on January 14th. If we have docs, and test coverage to support it this release will be RC1, if not it will be b3 and we'll schedule another release for the following friday. There is a lot of documentation, testing, and polishing of the release to be done, but we are very, very close to a 2.0 final. And when it's done we will have a great framework, that has many features that are missing in all of the other "web 2.0" web frameworks.
