Same here. I've been using tg1 for 3 years and have not changed the app in a substantial way, the various versions of tg1 all the way till 1.1 are more or less backward compatible. I'm still using Kid and sqlobject. Absolutely. My (partial) list of things that would need adaptation: Kid, sqlobject, identity, scheduler, error handlers.
