Times for the sprint are not yet set. Right now, I'm checking to see
if Oct 30 looks good. Assuming it is, it's likely to be on the same
schedule as other sprints: 10am eastern, so GMT-5 (or 4? Damned
daylight savings).

Christoph: I'm still torn on the best layout. What you have there is,
essentially, what we already have. I'm not sure if it's the structure,
or if it's the content, but somehow we're not managing to communicate
clearly to our users. That, of course, leads into a radical thought
that I'll discuss below.

Alessandro: Why do you say that the 2.1 pages are harder to read? I
ask because I need someone else's point of view on this.

My radical thought for people to consider? It can be summed up in one
statement: Throw the old docs out.

Yes, I know how that sounds. Right now, I think you guys are thinking
that I'm an idiot, but I do have a reason and a proposed plan.

My reason: The docs, as they are, are clearly written by different
people with different ideas of how things should look, where they
should go, etc. For instance, compare these pages:

http://www.turbogears.org/2.1/docs/main/TGandPyAMF.html
http://www.turbogears.org/2.1/docs/main/DownloadInstall.html
http://www.turbogears.org/2.1/docs/main/ToscaWidgets/Cookbook/AutoComplete.html

And those are mild examples.

So, my plan? Develop templates and an actual documentation structure.
Move the existing docs to an "old" area. Make the focus of the sprint
into "Take docs from old, convert to use the appropriate template, and
place correctly into structure." Our todo list would remain much the
same, but the end result would be something that is so much improved
that it could seriously help the overall image of TurboGears.

What do you all think? Aside from me being batshit insane, is this
something worth considering?
