What about "feeding" your changes back to Sphinx and make an alternate
layout "out of the box"?
It's already packaged as "tgtheme" and BSD-licensed just as the default
theme it's based on, so feel free to reuse and improve. Right, Sphinx
could do with more/better builtin themes, I consider contributing a
modified version back to Sphinx.
