I hadn't replied to this earlier, because I wanted to give Mark Ramm a chance to speak first. Speaking for myself, as keen as I am on being open about things that are going on, I try to balance that against prematurely announcing things and heading down the vaporware route. Writing a good technical book is a big proiject and Mark has given a lot of thought to what's involved. He and I are heading down the path but, as he said, the project is not to the point where we would announce anything. So, consider this a non-announcement of a book that does not yet exist :) Unless someone is a *very* fast writer, TurboGears 1.0 will be out months before a TurboGears book. I don't know if it's a coincidence, but a few hours after this thread started, I received an email message from a literary agent. Interesting, huh? Kevin
