Hi!


Since my main public is made of Brazilians, I am used to create the originals
in pt_BR (this is missing from the list of languages for the toolbox
interface, there's only pt and there are some huge differences from one to the
other).

I made that with a project of mine and wanted playing with I18N with
TurboGears.  Then, after fixing the "&copy" error from the previous post about
I18N, I created the potfile and clicked on the pencil to edit the file for
pt.  There I got this traceback:

I believe that something is trying to convert my Unicode either to Unicode
again or to something else.  Besides English being the 'default' languagen
when I18Nizing something, I don't believe we should make that mandatory.

There are some people who'll translate another website for a client of mine
from pt_BR to es that have a very poor English, so the originals got to be in
Brazilian Portuguese...
