[TurboGears] fastcgi error

I set up my app on Dreamhost using these instructions 
(http://trac.turbogears.org/turbogears/wiki/TurboGearsOnDreamHost). 
Things seemed to work until I pushed new code up last night, so I 
decided to try to create a fastcgi environment on my laptop.  After 
modifying the instructions appropriately, I am now stuck on a "Premature 
end of script headers: tg_fastcgi.fcgi".  I'm running this behind 
Apache2 and I'm getting stuff that looks OK in the stdout logs.  Any hints?
