You might hold off on that for the moment. I'd really like to think about how stateful widgets would work, and there might be some breaking changes as a result. (I don't *want* to make breaking changes per se, but too many people get tripped up by this.) Interestingly, controllers are also stateless. I don't know if people are misusing instance variables there, but widgets seem to encourage "self.foo = x" more than controllers do. Kevin
