Hi, I only have a minute, so here goes a real quick commentary:
Without CSS, the structure is good and logical, you can make sense of the content. I recommend adding accesskey attributes for the main navigation links. The alt attribute on the logo should say "TurboGears Logo" (otherwise a screen reader is going to just say "Graphic TurboGears" which only sorta makes any sense). I like the big icons in the Learning Fast section: Illustrative but not too busy. Since this is a preview, there should probably still be a download link and a little description for the stable stuff (a short description... details should go on another page). I like Ronald's green background better. I think the red and pink don't quite get along with each other (or the gold logo). Maybe a blue or #333 for the headings, and probably lose the red links, or it's going to look like "happy holidays" against the green background if that goes in. Also, it's a matter of taste somewhat, but I'm partial to altering the top and bottom padding for the H tags so they are visually closer to the text they belong with, and a bit farther from the previous block. The only other thing is it should be HTML 4.01 Strict or Transitional for better cross-browser support, especially if it's UTF-8. Whew. OK. Nice work, really! Keep it up, it's gonna rock. -- "...if you swear that there's no truth and who cares / How come you say it like you're right?" --Bright Eyes, _We Are Nowhere and It's Now_ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
