Wolfgang Thank you. This is the answer I was looking for. I'm always uncomfortable about reading new licenses like Kid, CherryPy and ElementTree's to make sure all is OK since IANAL.
The fact that all licenses are MIT/BSD licenses that DO NOT impose ANY minor requirements that render them GPL incompatible would be VERY good to mention at the top of http://turbogears.org/about/license.html if I may make that suggestion. BTW, just to make the obvious obvious....just because a license is MIT like does not mean it is GPL compatible...e.g. original BSD license with advertising clause. Hope that helps.
