I've been on python-hosting.com for several months, for part-time
development of a web app with a friend. I believe it covers all your
wish list.

I'm not an expert in setting up sites, so I found it convenient to have
svn and Trac installed for me. On the TG side, their admin panel set up
a TG 0.8.8 install, so I installed my own version (despite not being
expert), at 0.9a1 I think it was, then again at 0.9a4.

that's a bummer from my site it seems they set TG as "lets see if this gets money" and since it didn't get them that much they kind of let it there at that old geeser .8 is :p

Their support has been very good, and for a few dollars extra compared
with other hosts, I like having a site that's really TG-aware.

yes here your right, the fact they got people from cherrypy is great and maybe paying more there will be better for the support.
