Just to be clear on one thing: the project will continue regardless of what happens at this point. Of that, there is no doubt. Even if I do take that job, I'm still working with related technology as part of work, and I'll still be hands on with the project. And, if you take a look at svn checkins, most of the code in TurboGears is not written by me. I like to think I play an integral role here, but the fact is that the project is much bigger than just me. So, the sales of this product will influence how I spend my time, but I really don't want it portrayed as a "life or death struggle" for TurboGears (sounds like a made for TV movie :) (I'm sure you didn't mean all of that when you said "keep the project up and running", but I didn't want anyone to soak in that idea...) Regarding pricing and downloads: I'm sure it's possible to package this up in some kind of downloadable form. There would be some mechanics to figure out, and I'd have to think about how I'd price a downloadable package. With the deadlines I have coming up, though, I can't realistically see setting that up in the short term.
