Oh? I didn't even know it was supposed to be that quick. Sometimes for me it's quicker to kill the CP process with ctrl-c and start it again. The autoreload really doesn't catch the changes that quick, 6 seconds sounds about right. However, I'm doing my editing on a different machine than the one running the CP process (I run TG on Linux, edit with TextMate on OS-X). Maybe this overhead is just in the network filesystem - Collin is that the case for you too? Actually, when I think about it it's even more complicated: My file is on my home-folder, on Linux machine A CP runs on linux machine B, with /home mounted over NFS My editr runs on OS-X, with /home/arnarb mounted over SMB All machines are timesynced.
