I'm not sure about FAQ most are never read :)
I do agree that they should be short with links, most documentation is
build around this concept, take for example the Database* pages, back
on trac when I started them they where all build with the "FAQ" in
mind, and they all follow the same structure, how do I install the db,
which is the format of the query string what are the common
problems,etc.
