Hi all! I have started a FAQ page on the documentation wiki:
http://docs.turbogears.org/FAQ The FAQ contains (or better: hopefully will contain) answers to questions that are raised regularly on the mailing list. The document is in draft status for now, since many answers only consist of a link to a mailing list post. You can help out by extracting the relevant information from these posts and turn them into a clear, brief and accurate answer. If you want to contribute to the FAQ or make requests for new questions with answers to be added, you are welcome to do so; the page is freely editable by all. But please read question "How do I add new questions to the FAQ list?" [1] before you edit the FAQ page. [2] I am still in the process of adding references to useful posts in the mailing list archive, so please check back from time to time, to see if your question has been added yet or add it yourself. Chris [1] http://docs.turbogears.org/FAQ#q-007 [2] A technical side note: you will notice that I chose to use the definition list syntax for the questions and answers rather than making each question a section heading. I did this for several reasons: - The color and font size for section headers make them hard to read, IMO. - They are arkward to edit when the question is longer than one line. - The automatic TOC generation does not work well for long section headers anyway. This means, that for now the TOC has to be maintained manually and internal hyperlink references have to be added. I'm open for suggestions for a better solution. It also means that the question has to be on a single line with no line breaks.
