No, currently not. Kid templates must be valid XML:
http://www.kid-templating.org/guide.html#template-example

I.e. you must close all tags (<p>, <hr>, <dl>, <li>) and enclose 
attributes in quotes.

If it is too much to do it manually, yes, you can run your templates 
(once) through some tidy lib. The CP tidy filter will not work because 
it comes *after* the template has been rendered already, and it will 
cost unnecessary performance.
