Well, actually what I just wrote is nonesense :) Little additions  
like this one are not risky nor harmful and could be of great utility  
to some people. If this works for you please open a ticket at the  
Trac with a patch attached so someone can commit it. A little  
unittest and a mention at the docs will be greatley appreciated too.
