I don't see why this can't be an external thing. What I mean is: why bloat TG's dependencies? Why can't we have different "products" that help deploying apps? I know it isn't easy for everyone. And it varies with your experience with Apache and the OS you're deploying into, but I don't think it is as bad as you are saying... But I'm using computers for almost 20 years and I'm exclusively on Linux for almost 10 years, so I admit I have a biased view. On the other hand, I don't want to install supervisor or whatever if I'm not going to use it (and I won't...). If it becomes a dependency on TG, I'll have to bloat my installations with things that don't have any real use to me and I'll have to add that to specs, validation tests, certify those installed versions, etc. So, I'm +1 for a product / package that helps that.
