It's not working the way you expect becasue RemoteForm can't upload files. See http://groups.google.be/group/turbogears/msg/530c61cc06cf56c4 for a discussion, and at least a partial solution to your requirements above. But I'd even say there is more not working: how do you expect a thumbnail to be generated whilst _uploading_ the image?
