I Standard TG2/Flash Bridge
"""Ideally this would be a buffet template engine compatable thing,
and
TG2 could just expose AMF3 as an alternative data format."""

This would be outstanding. Unfortunately, it is beyond my abilities
to implement. :(

Some more example code in the docs for hooking up ActionScript to TG2
with JSON, XML etc would also be great.

II TG2 Generation of SWF's

"""What would this be like? My first thought might be similar to using
kid/genshi to
generate the ActionScript or mxml but I think the ActionScript should
be
compiled into swf's before using to deploy easier. """

Exactly. A standard stage with library of standard Flash elements for
TG2. Edit the database, put audio/video content in filesystem, and
create the Flash content from that. Also, if the Flash elements are
TG aware and have an edit mode, part of the editing occurs in the
Flash movie itself.

For example, the movie is in edit mode. It has an image, and TG
automatically places a compile button in the movie. The image can be
drug around, and on recompile, updates the db of its new position.
When published for the public, the compile button and drag feature
goes away.

"""We could use these tools as a front end but the power of the Flex
Builder tool would be lost."""

I was thinking extending the Flash toolkit with TG2 browser based
content creation/editing, not replacing the Flex Builder / Flash tool
etc.

Anyways, I think this would expand the capabilities of TG2 and
differentiate it from the pack. It's not that difficult to do, the
loose coupling of TG allows alot of options.
