It may help to know that I originally installed Turbogears through apt- get (not aptitude). I noticed that apt-get did not provide the latest version, and the version in apt-get did not work with Python 2.5. Through some RuleDispatch uninstalling and what not, I managed to get TG to work (or at least, to get to this state).
PS: It seems to be some sort of Cheetah problem, would removing/ reinstalling Cheetah help?
