During last gsoc, Ariane Paola worked on this exact subject. I suggest
you search for the results of her work and you first give us a
synthetic overview of where we stand and what's left to be done.

Once we have this we can evaluate who could mentor you.

One more thing you could do is provide pointers to you
zope/python/general open source activities, because googling your name
does not yield much.

We hope to hear from you soon and be convinced into working with you for GSOC!
