There is one bug that I know of where TW is required to be installed even if you turn use_toscawidgets off, but other than that, there are no show-stopper bugs in trac. If there's anything critical, I'm planning to release 2.0.1 very soon, because I need to be able to remove ToscaWidgets, SQLAlchemy and a few other pieces of the standard TG2 infrastructure for a work project.
I really don't think that 2.0 is incomplete, in fact it's been in a state where I thought it was releasable for about three weeks, and we've been waiting on me to update the content in the new beta.turbogears.org site, and for some general infrastructure updates. And I decided that it was more important to get the code into people's hands than to get the website perfect. This gives us the opportunity to we will continue to improve the code and the website, and to continue to move the project forward and hopefully attract some new developers. --Mark Ramm On Wed, May 27, 2009 at 5:37 PM, AF <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > > I'd suggest against releasing an incomplete 2.0 release even if it is > > > already out in the wild.
