I have forked tgext.registration2 last weekend to begin to add "Terms of Service". Needed it for a quick project I'm working on. I plan on making changes to make it an optional registration item with link to the "Terms" via registration.cfg. Let me know if the effort is under way to merge projects and which one is to be deprecated. I would be happy to help in the effort.
thanks Geoff for your consideration. the registration code is meant to be the first and minimal information an user would provide to the site. the link sent to the user to confirm the registration should, in my opinion, present the user additional questions like address, and application specific information. on the other hand, if all the additional information for your app is the terms of service, i wouldn't mind having it in the main tgext code, provided you make it enablable in the cfg. for this kind of thing, it would be best to open the terms page in another window, especially if reading it would be only formal. so if you have such code, please send a patch for me to examine. alex
