I can not give you a slution because these problems was why I drop
jquery flexgrid and started to use jqgrid. there is no tg plugin for
jqgrid and I think noo need to. Just put jquery and jqgrid js in html
form and you are good to go. jqgrid is excellent grid and actively
developed. it's examples are in php but all you need to do is write some
controller methods to return json.
search google for jqgrid and hit the first link.
I can send you some samples if you want.

when I use flexigrid from tw.jquery, the next page button, goes 10
pages ahead
if I replace the flexigrid js lib with a more recent one, then I can't
have the "sort on th click" functionnality
Am I the only one ?
what is frustrating is that it seems that it is one of the few js
plugin without the source version, so I can't debug it either.
any help appreciated
