test the current development version of TG 1.5, use the one at
https://sourceforge.net/p/turbogears1/code/ under branches/1.5.
I'm pretty sure the first issue you reported has already been fixed.
For the second issue, can you file a ticket at our new issue tracker
https://sourceforge.net/p/turbogears1/tickets/ so it does not get lost?
We are currently moving servers and download sections, and I will
release a TG 1.5b3/rc1 as soon as that migration is finished.
