Usually you'll want to deploy under a http server such as apache, nginx, etc. With apache the recommended way is under mod_wsgi for better integration, however, you can, like with most other http server, deploy under paster/gunicorn/uwsgi/etc and use the http server as a round robin proxy / load balancer, which is the recommended way to deploy with gunicorn.
Personally I don't see much difference between gunicorn and paster, but gunicorn can scale more under nginx than paster, but is not that great if you compare it against mod_wsgi or uwsgi. There is a benchmark on python web servers if you are interested on it, is a bit outdated but will give you a general idea of what is available: http://nichol.as/benchmark-of-python-web-servers Regards, Carlos Daniel Ruvalcaba Valenzuela -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
