I'm just catching up with this thread.... and these comments
are "shooting from the hip" as I haven't had time to look at
the sample code in the distributions yet.
I don't think samples should use JUnit. Samples should show
how a user would build a (very simple) real application.
Samples are not the same as tests.
I don't see the need to have both class and jar executables
for every sample. Perhaps there could be a mixture of these
styles to show both options. I will look at the distribution
contents and come back with a more considered opinion on this.
