Perhaps a more pertinent question is: which code do we as a community choose to take responsibility for? Seriously, you, I or anyone else may for many reasons be unable to contribute to the project in the future. One of the primary goals of incubation is to make sure there is enough diversity in the community that the project will continue should any individual or bloc move on. One of the implications here is that we all share responsibility for the code. Individuals may have expertise in particular areas but the responsibility belongs to all of us. -- Jeremy
