Its likely to be dependent on all the classloader, distribution and extension packaging stuff being discussed on the list but not yet worked out. It is possible to get samples running in eclipse, some of them already have a test which uses the SCATestCase so you can create your own one of those for the other samples just to help in your own environment, and patch the launcher so it doesn't insist in being run from a jar file.
