Just for the record, I don't think it was agreed on this IRC that PMD
violations are required to be fixed before committing code (or that
IRC is
the place for that type of decision).
Fine if it gets set up so it works everywhere and we can all try it
out, but
I don't think it should be mandatory yet.
Can you elaborate why you believe it is o.k. to check in code that
causes PMD violations? Are there specific rules you don't agree with
or are opposed to the idea in general of having code checked?
