Jeremy, I have to give it a -1 right now.
Lately, the incubator PMC's have been requiring ALL artifacts to be properly digitally signed, including those going into the maven repository. Thus, you need to sign all the stuff you put up there and then add a KEYS file or similar into svn with the public keys. Unfortunately, at this point, maven won't do that for you automatically. When this is fixed, I'll change to a +1. I just don't think a +1 is warranted if we're pretty sure the incubator folks will object. Thanks!
