Open content properties are supported in the SDO C++ implementation. I'm not sure if support is quite up to "spec" level but it's fairly close.
Deserializing an xml document to SDO without schema is probably "not quite there" and the XMLHelper and parser code would need looking at to make this work as per the SDO spec... but I think it could be reasonably simple to support.
