Hi,

Thank you for listing the items. I feel the urgency too if we want to make it an October release. To create a RC tomorrow, we need to have all the changes merged into the 1.0.1 branch by 12:00pm Pacific Time. Is that doable?

I'm also struggling a bit about the merge technique. On one hand, I would like to see more people help. But I'm also concerned that intervened commits will make the merge very difficult.

How about this: let me try to merge by squence first and see how it works out? I'll post on this list if I need help.

Thanks,
Raymond

Ok some things I think would be good are:

-the fix to prevent the servlet-api jar getting dragged in to webapps

-the fix so src builds using JDK6 work

-any fixes to get src distro builds with Maven 2.0.6 and 2.0.7 working (not
sure of the status are there any fixes we could have?)

- some JIRAs are: TUSCANY-1791, 1787, 1795,1801, 1782, 1785, 1797, 1796,
1790, 1786, 1800, 1859, 1855, 1848, 1823, 1839

If we're to make an October release we'll need to be getting this done real soon now, would it be easier if we all just started committing the fixes, at
least the trivial ones like those README update JIRAs?

Hi Raymond,

I nominated the fixes that add ant scripts to the notification samples,
which did not quite make it into the 1.0 release. Depending on one's point
of view, these fixes may/ma not be considered "bug" fixes, so feel free
not
to include them, but they are small an non-disruptive enough, and they
would
help testing the 1.0.1 branch.

Thanks
