I can attest that some schools are, yes. There is a series of private
religious schools up and down the west coast that have been using our
stuff since 6.2, and last year lost their tech guy (he was overworked,
having to drive to each school to fix problems, and they just no longer
had the budget to pay him).

However, in their case, it probably wouldn't matter if 6.2 wasn't
supported or not anyway... since they lost their sysadmin they probably
wont be updating these machines themselves.
