Hi, I'm not sure that the click and drag paradigm for sizing shape is the easiest for very young users. Even my girlfriend (27 years old) did not figure out on the first attempt how to draw shapes. She was clicking and getting only small dots on her canvas. After a while she got the "press button - drag - release button" process; but I guess I can't blame her for not being too smart. Of course she could have read more carefully the instructions stated on screen, but well, A 4 year old cannot even read.
That is why I suggest an alternative way of implementing shapes sizing: 1. Full click (i.e. press and release mouse button) once for the center of your shape 2. Drag to choose the size of your shape 3.
