It works fine for me either local or networked but I only have an Epson 860
printer to test it with. I would also appreciate some feedback.

RE: email from David Hendrix

Thanks for your replies to the questions. To summarise:

    printers are networked
    non-Epson
    screen resolution has no effect
it prints, but only prints a blank page

Sounds like a bug in my code. I am not a Windows printing expert and I was
frankly surprised that I managed to make the settings persistant at all. The
make of printer shouldn't matter, I use Windows calls for everything.

The bug with the --printcfg command-line option/config file setting doesn't
apply to the latest version 0.9.12.

A few more questions:

With the --printcfg command line switch or the config file printcfg=yes
setting, are you able to configure the printer and the printer settings?
Does Tux Paint remember the settings between sessions?

I would like to eliminate the question of the persistant settings.

What happens if you delete the 'print.cfg' file under 'userdata', start
Tux Paint *without* either --printcfg or printcfg=yes and just print using
    the system-wide default printer?

Are you able/prepared to build Tux Paint from source?
Would you be willing to try executables that I might send (virus scanned
first)? [I am easy to find on Google]

I will search for up-to-date examples of how to do printing properly. The MS
documentation I have doesn't cover the overall strategy of printing very
well.

Will get back to you,

cheers,
John.
