This code needs to be made into a library. :^) I see it requires 16bpp depth for the image, due to the way it uses look-up tables. Seems it uses RGB-565 (5 bits of red, 6 of green, and 5 of blue). I can handle converting the SDL_Surface pixels to that :^) Anyway, this should be fun.
