congratulations to everybody who contributed to tuxpaint! i am not a kid though i am having lots of fun using it!! :) i am not alas a coder either, so i won't be able to help you much with programming, i am sorry... but i am a very picky software user in general, and i know a bit of imagery software, so i hope i can help you anyway! here are some small observations/comments i noticed while trying to draw a few things : - - i love the new brushes a lot! but there are so many! have you planned to add at some point a system where some kind of drawers or folders with thematic sorting could contain and categorize them? - - could there be more "variable transparency" brushes like the 5th and 6th of the paint tool? - - could there be one single-pixel brush? - - the "eraser" tool could be subject to brushes, as well as the "paint" one? - - could there be in "magic" or some other new sections basic select/move tools? like a square to draw around an area, and the mouse moves the content of this area, another click drops it? - - what about some basic "config" buttons? do you think kids would tweak them all and break everything? i was thinking of "sound ON/OFF" button or something... ?
