One more thing, I just noticed the "Config" and "Help" pulldown menus! :^)

I do still definitely think having some 'The Final Word' buttons at
the bottom would be good.

e.g.:

 tuxpaint-config                     -~X        <--- window titlebar

  Config ========================= Help         <--- menus

  /Video & Sound\ /Mouse & Key\ / ... \         <--- tabs

  |                                   |
  |  ...                   ...        |         <--- options visible in the
  |                                   |              current tab
  |                                   |
  |                                   |

                    [ Apply ] [ Reset ]         <--- buttons

The buttons could be:

  * Like KDE:

    Apply -- save changes, but don't quit
    Reset -- erase all changes; reload from .tuxpaintrc
              (or set to 'defaults', if there's no config file)

  * Similar, but with different names:

    Save -- (same as "Apply" above)
    Revert -- (same as "Reset" above)

  * Both used to dismiss the window:

    OK -- save changes, and quit
    Cancel -- don't save any changes, and quit
