There are three things keeping me from releasing Tux Paint 0.9.14 this
very moment :^)
1. Translations - some need clean-up/updates still
I should start tracking down translators (not all are on -i18n list)
and see if they can help update things.
2. Tux Paint Config - I really want this available as an add-on when
the next Tux Paint comes out. I've wanted an app. like this for
about a year and a half. ;^)
3. Picture Naming Feature - The one asked for by a school or two out
there. I promised them we'd work on it, but I haven't had much time.
(Well, I've had time, but focused on some of the easier stuff, like
messing with Torsten's FLTK GUI in Fluid ;^) )
To me, #2 is a show-stopper. I REALLY want it available, and will wait
on releasing Tux Paint until then. :^)
As for #1, it can be like herding cats, so I'm not too concerned. I'd
really like the "msgid"s fixed wherever possible, though, so that we at
least don't _LOSE_ some of the old translations. :^) (Karl?)
As for #3, I think it might need to wait until 0.9.15. I'm moving
out of town in a few days, to start working in an office for the company
I'm working for, so I don't think I'll have time to focus on such a
complicated chunk of code. :^/
In the meantime, I'm more than happy to discuss the design for some of
the additional parent- and parent-and-kid- related tools I was talking
about last night.[*] I don't think I'll be able to work on code just yet,
though!

and flat-bitmap-to-stamp-with-alpha editor/importer app
