Quoting that page:

"The name 'Fifth Dimension' refers to the fact that education and
learning go beyond the three dimensions of physical space and the
fourth dimension time. 5D is about making learning meaningful."

  5D has three distinguishing features:

  # The 5D is guided by the principle that physical and conceptual tools
    mediate learning and development.

  # The 5D assumes and strives for collaboration between institutions in
the local community and in the global arena.

  # The 5D invites people of different ages and with diverse expertise
and experiences to interact and collaborate.

  Explanation of the activities:

Children of 11/12 years old (primary school) developed exercises on
the computer with 'Hot Potatoes'. The 'Hot Potatoes' suite includes
several applications, enabling you to create interactive
  multiple-choice, short-answer, jumbled-sentence, crossword,
matching/ordering and gap-fill exercises for the World Wide Web. They
worked with 'Tux Paint' (freeware) to create the drawings (background
of the web pages). The subject-matter of the exercise material is
  'recycling garbage'.

Neat! :)
