I got the chance to download the Tux Paint Config that Jeffrey Jake sent me onto a Mac over at the Apple Store near where I work. (They clerks there kept asking if I needed help. I thought they were gonna kick me out ;^) )
Unfortunately, it didn't run at all. I downloaded the ZIP (which is up on my FTP site) using Safari. I double-clicked it, which unzipped it and I got a file on the desktop with the generic "Application" icon. When I double-clicked that, the icon did the little 'zoom in and fade out' effect, but that was it. :^( I was able to do Get Info on it, but that didn't tell me anything useful, from what I can tell. I couldn't run it from a console, because it looks like they locked down the Terminal App (it seemed to be stuck in an encrypted SIT file). The machine was running Mac OS X 10.3.5. I was able to download a .tar.gz'd ".app" of Tux Paint itself, which ran fine, so I'm not sure what could be up. I've sent the above report to Jeffrey, but thought I'd post it here, in case any other OS X developer folks are interested in helping out. ;^) You can find the app here: ftp://ftp.sonic.net/pub/users/nbs/unix/x/tuxpaint/testbuilds/macosx/ The file is: TuxPaint-Config-2004-09-28.zip Thx! -bill! _______________________________________________ Tuxpaint-dev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://tux4kids.net/mailman/listinfo/tuxpaint-dev
