"Wahlberg said of the sketch: Someone showed it to me on YouTube. It wasn't like Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin, that's for sure. And "Saturday Night Live" hasn't been funny for a long time. They've asked me to do the show a ton of times. I used to watch it when Eddie Murphy was there and Joe Piscopo and Bill Murray. I don't even know who's on the show now." I had no idea what the point of that sketch was, and Walhberg's reaction here still does not help. I assumed there was some context in which it made sense that was outside my experience. But I think I will upgrade it just on the basis of him not liking it. Plus - I can't get too sympathetic to the comedy sensibilities of anyone who looks back on Joe Piscopo as the golden age... --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Like TV only smarter.
